This blog is dedicated to my former and only beloved wife of 29 years, Vivian, who went to be with our Lord and Master, Jesus, on February 28, 2007, after a seven year battle with melanoma. If these words and pictures capture only a small portion of her courage, spirit, and outstanding heritage as a wife, mother, and friend, our purpose here will be accomplished. Her reach and influence was broad and wide, and family and friends must be a part of this to show more of who Vivian was, and the importance of her life.
The picture of Vivian on the rear porch in her hat is an elegant one, a poignant moment. An 8 by 10 of this one in the home has Psalms 73:26 printed below: ..."My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Those of us that know and love Vivian saw this reality both in her life and her death.

Thank you, Wayne, for sharing this with those of us who love Vivian and cherish the moments in life that she shared herself, her wisdom and her love with us. There are many "Vivian Moments" that will always be with me. I've enjoyed looking at the pictures of your children as adults and seeing their mother in them. Thank you again for doing this.

What a beautiful means of reminiscing. Vivian was a very special part of our lives, and we appreciate (again) being a part of a special day in your lives (your wedding). Having the privilege of knowing her and the girls from before you even met them gave a special sense of investment in you all.
We truly are blessed by this blog and the assistance in the Anmnesis.

What a beautiful family!
I very recently came across this quote by St. Augustine. With hope that it is of encouragement to you, here it is:
